REMEDIATION There a numerous methods in which mold will be removed from a location. Cleanup methods will vary dependent on the size of the job, the location of the mold and the extent of mold growth. All remediation efforts will include moisture control and removal, cleaning, and the implementation of procedures to prohibit re-growth. AST is equipped to handle remediation projects small and large. Equipment we use includes:
Wet and dry HEPA vacuums
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirator and full body protection.
Negative Pressure HEPA filtered air units.
Containment materials (polyethylene sheeting, decontamination units).
Cleaning tools / equipment (ladders, scaffolding, collection and sanitizing tools).
Cleaning solutions (disinfectants, detergents, 100% ecologically safe enzyme cleaners).
Preventative coatings.
Waste disposal materials.
REMOVAL AND RESTORATION
If mold growth is widespread and water damage is extent, removal of building or home materials may be required. Some items such as carpet, sheetrock, and porous furniture may not be recoverable and will need to be disposed of and replaced. AST can provide removal services and can introduce property owners to various trades for reconstruction.
